- Ask to see their Gas Safe card at the door and look at the back, which lists exactly what they are qualified to work on. You can also check the licence number against the Gas Safe Register. Dan would rather you checked than took his word for it.
- Can you move the gas supply for a new cooker or hob?
- Yes. Dan runs and alters gas pipework in Chorley for cookers and hobs, and tests the work properly before leaving. Gas pipework legally has to be done by a Gas Safe registered engineer, not a general handyman.
- Do you install heat pumps?
- No. Heat pumps are not part of what Dan does, and he would rather say so plainly than take the job and learn on your house. For gas boilers, heating, certificates and plumbing, call 07949 353536.
