Anyone working on gas in your home must be on the Gas Safe Register. Everything below is work I am registered to carry out.
Gas safety certificates
CP12 records for landlords and gas safety checks for homeowners, with the paperwork issued and sent over rather than promised and forgotten.
Gas pipework
New runs, alterations and moving supplies for a new cooker or hob. Done to the standard it should be done to, and tested properly before I leave.
Central heating
Radiators, cylinders, immersion heaters, controls and the systems behind them. Heating faults are usually a system problem, not just a boiler problem.
Heat pumps are the one thing I do not do. I would rather tell you that than pretend otherwise. 07949 353536.

- Ask to see their Gas Safe card at the door and look at the back, which lists exactly what they are qualified to work on. You can also check the licence number on the Gas Safe Register. Dan would rather you checked than took his word for it.
- What gas work can you do in Preston?

- Can you move or fit the gas supply for a new cooker or hob?
- Yes. Dan runs and alters gas pipework for cookers and hobs in Preston, and tests the work properly before he leaves. Gas pipework is not a DIY job or one for a general handyman: it legally has to be done by a Gas Safe registered engineer.
- Do you install heat pumps?
